Balochistan Governor Approves Removal of Provincial Minister Abdul Rehman Khetran from Cabinet
QUETTA: The Governor of Balochistan has approved the removal of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Abdul Rehman Khetran from the provincial cabinet.
According to official details, the governor signed the summary to de-notify Khetran as a provincial minister following advice from the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
The move comes two days after the chief minister forwarded the summary recommending Khetran’s dismissal to the governor for approval.
With the governor’s approval, Abdul Rehman Khetran has been formally removed from his ministerial position, and the relevant de-notification process has been completed.
No official reason for Khetran’s removal has been disclosed by the provincial government so far. Further details are expected to emerge as the government issues additional statements regarding the decision.
