PkMAP Condemns Kidnapping and Killing of Driver Abdul Samad Mirzai in Qilla Saifullah, Demands Arrest of Culprits

Quetta: The provincial secretariat of Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkMAP) has strongly condemned the kidnapping and brutal killing of driver Abdul Samad Mirzai in Qilla Saifullah.

In a press release issued from Quetta, the party described the incident as a heartbreaking tragedy, stating that it is not only an irreparable loss for the victim’s family but also a serious question mark over law and order and the safety of citizens in the area.

According to the statement, Abdul Samad Mirzai had remained missing for three days before his body was discovered. The party expressed concern that during this period, no effective or result-oriented progress was made by the district administration or law enforcement agencies. It emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the state’s primary constitutional and moral responsibility, and any negligence in this regard is unacceptable.

The press release further highlighted the rising incidents of kidnapping, target killing, armed robbery, and insecurity across the province, which have created widespread fear and a sense of vulnerability among the public. It warned that failure to take timely and concrete measures could further deteriorate the situation, holding the concerned authorities responsible.

PkMAP demanded the immediate arrest of all individuals involved in the incident and called for a transparent, impartial, and high-level investigation to bring the facts before the public. The party also urged the government to ensure swift and complete justice for the victim’s family, along with state-level protection and support.

The party reiterated the need for urgent and practical steps to restore peace and prevent such tragic incidents in the future. It expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and vowed to raise its voice at every democratic and constitutional forum to ensure justice and safeguard the lives and property of the people.
