Senator Manzoor Kakar Visits Hanna Urak, Expresses Solidarity with Residents and Calls for Action Against Insecurity

QUETTA: Senator Manzoor Kakar visited the Hanna Urak area on Monday to express solidarity with local residents following recent violence and called on the government to take effective action to restore peace and security.

Addressing members of the local community, Kakar said he would stand “shoulder to shoulder with the tribes until the last drop of blood,” assuring residents that they would not be left alone during the ongoing security challenges.

He said he was in constant contact with security forces and the district administration and urged residents to remain calm, adding that a comprehensive strategy to address the law and order situation would be formulated soon.

The senator stressed that the challenge of insecurity should be confronted with courage, determination, and a well-planned strategy. He also informed residents that heavy contingents of security forces had arrived in the area and appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to help restore peace.

Questioning the circumstances faced by local residents, Kakar asked, “What is our crime?” He urged the government to launch immediate operations against armed groups operating in various villages of Hanna Urak and ensure the protection of the lives and property of local people.
