Qatar Says U.S.-Iran Talks to Resume After Funeral of Former Iranian Supreme Leader

Doha:Qatar says indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran will resume after the funeral ceremonies of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, following what officials described as positive progress in the latest round of talks.
Qatari officials said the indirect negotiations held in Doha had advanced constructively and that both sides are expected to return to the negotiating table after the funeral.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said Pakistani and Qatari mediators held separate meetings with U.S. and Iranian negotiators in Doha, during which positive progress was made on issues related to the **Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding**.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both Iran and the United States have agreed to continue negotiations in the coming days as diplomatic efforts to ease regional tensions continue.
