Pakistan Says U.S. and Iran Agree to Continue Talks After Positive Progress in Doha

Islamabad:** Pakistan’s Foreign Office says Iran and the United States have agreed to continue negotiations in the coming days following positive discussions held through mediators in Doha.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Pakistani and Qatari mediators held separate meetings with U.S. and Iranian negotiators, during which positive progress was made on issues related to the **Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding**.
The spokesperson added that the latest developments build on progress achieved during the **Lausanne Summit**, with both sides agreeing to continue diplomatic engagement.
Pakistan also said the next round of talks is expected to be scheduled as soon as possible after the funeral ceremonies of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
