Tamannaah Bhatia Says Wealth Is About the Journey, Not Just Money

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has said that while she enjoys building businesses and creating wealth, her ultimate goal is not simply to accumulate money but to establish a meaningful identity and create lasting value.

Speaking in a recent interview with Forbes, Tamannaah reflected on success, wealth, and her growing entrepreneurial ambitions. The actress, who has spent years in the film industry, said she has come to realize that material wealth cannot be taken along after life.

“I have understood one thing: no one can take this wealth with them. For me, wealth is about enjoying the process of creating it. I enjoy the journey of building value, wealth, and my identity because I genuinely find it exciting,” she said.

Discussing the role of money in life, Tamannaah added that there is a limit to what wealth can provide. “I don’t know what I will eventually do with all this money. What does anyone really do with so much wealth? Beyond a certain point, money cannot do much more for you. What matters is creating something meaningful and seeing it through to its ultimate purpose,” she remarked.

The actress believes that financial success naturally follows when people work toward a larger purpose. She explained that whenever she focused on meaningful goals, wealth was generated as a byproduct of those efforts.

“I want my work to reach as many people as possible, and that brings me immense happiness. Whenever I have worked for a greater purpose, wealth has followed naturally,” she said.

Tamannaah also emphasized the importance of helping others, stating that social impact should not be limited to occasional acts of charity. According to her, supporting people and creating opportunities should be an ongoing part of building a business.

According to Indian media reports, Tamannaah has appeared in nearly 90 films during her career and is estimated to have a net worth exceeding one billion Indian rupees. She also owns a luxury seafront apartment in Mumbai.

After years of success in cinema, Tamannaah has recently ventured into entrepreneurship. Earlier this year, she launched her jewelry brand, “Tamannaah Fine Jewellery,” which is being marketed as an everyday luxury brand. However, she insists that her primary focus remains expanding her work and creating value rather than merely accumulating wealth.
