Major Crackdown on Illegal Iranian Cigarettes in Jaffarabad, Large Quantity Seized

Jaffarabad (Kudrat Daily) — The district administration has launched a major crackdown against the sale and purchase of illegal Iranian cigarettes in Jaffarabad, during which a significant quantity of cigarettes worth thousands of rupees was seized in Dera Allah Yar.

According to details, on the special instructions of Deputy Commissioner Jaffarabad Khalid Khan, Tehsildar Abdul Ghani Chachar, along with revenue staff and police, conducted raids in various commercial areas of Dera Allah Yar.

During the operation, shops of cigarette dealers located on Adalat Road, Quetta Road, and Sohbatpur Road were searched, where a large quantity of illegal Iranian cigarettes was recovered and immediately confiscated on the spot.

Tehsildar Abdul Ghani Chachar stated that the sale and purchase of Iranian cigarettes is strictly prohibited under the law, and strict legal action will be taken against violators.

He warned shopkeepers and dealers that in case of future violations, not only will the goods be seized but heavy fines will also be imposed.

The district administration said that such operations will continue without interruption to eliminate illegal trade and ensure the rule of law in the region.
