PML-N MPA Saqib Chaddar Submits Money Trail to Police in Alleged Rs80 Million Fraud Case

Lahore (Qudrat Daily) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saqib Chaddar has submitted a money trail to police regarding an alleged transfer of funds to Ramsha Iqbal in a case involving a reported Rs80 million financial dispute.
According to details, the MPA has also filed an application at a police station seeking the registration of a criminal case against Ramsha Iqbal, sister of actress Momina Iqbal, and her family under serious charges of fraud, criminal breach of trust, and alleged threats.

The written complaint, now available with authorities, states that Saqib Chaddar and the accused family shared close personal relations, during which Ramsha Iqbal allegedly requested financial assistance for obtaining a visa and traveling to Australia. She reportedly assured that the amount would be returned once the visa process was completed.
The MPA stated in his application that he transferred a total of Rs80 million in multiple installments, including a cheque of Rs39 million deposited into Ramsha Iqbal’s bank account, while the remaining Rs41 million was allegedly handed over in cash in the presence of witnesses identified as Javed Iqbal and Bilal Akbar.

According to the complaint, despite repeated requests after the visa process was completed and Ramsha Iqbal’s departure to Australia, the amount was not returned. The applicant claims she continued to delay repayment and later refused to return the money altogether.

The application further alleges that after going abroad, Ramsha Iqbal avoided repayment commitments and allegedly issued threats when asked to return the funds. It also states that she has now denied returning the money and is accused of using the funds for personal purposes.
The complainant has requested police to register a case and recover the alleged amount of Rs80 million under relevant legal provisions.
