Thunderstorms and rain forecast for Sindh today and tomorrow

Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by light to moderate rain in several districts of Sindh today and tomorrow, while most parts of the province are expected to remain hot, very hot, and dry.

According to the forecast, scattered thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall are likely today in districts including Sukkur, Kashmore, Larkana, Shikarpur, Qambar Shahdadkot, Dadu, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, and Umerkot.

Tomorrow, similar conditions of windstorms and light rain with thunderstorms are expected in Jamshoro, Qambar Shahdadkot, Ghotki, Khairpur, Sanghar, Umerkot, and Tharparkar.

Meanwhile, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid with partly cloudy conditions over the next three days. The maximum temperature in the city is likely to range between 35°C and 37°C.

Officials added that most areas of Sindh will continue to experience hot to very hot and dry weather conditions despite the intermittent rainfall activity in selected districts.
