Babar Azam and Cricketers React Lightheartedly to AI-Generated Songs Using His Voice
Islamabad (Khabar Desk) — Pakistan cricket team star batter Babar Azam, along with other national cricketers, reacted humorously to AI-generated songs created using Babar Azam’s voice, in a light and entertaining video shared on the official social media platforms of Pakistan Cricket.
The video shows players listening to AI-created songs and sharing their spontaneous reactions, which quickly grabbed the attention of fans across social media.
In the clip, Babar Azam smiled and clarified that although he sings, the voice used in the AI-generated song was not his. “I do sing, but this is not my voice. However, the picture looks good,” he said jokingly.
All-rounder Salman Ali Agha also took a humorous approach, saying he had heard even worse songs and joking that he does not think Babar can sing better than those tracks.
Fast bowler Naseem Shah noted that many AI-generated songs in Pakistan are now using Babar Azam’s voice. He said he often comes across such reels during travel and even plays them on speaker for entertainment.
Naseem Shah further added that Babar Azam should at least try singing in his real voice once, as fans admire him in every role, whether in cricket or beyond.
