Haris Rauf’s ‘0-6 Gesture’ to Indian Fans Becomes Top Trend on Social Media

Lahore – Pakistani fast bowler **Haris Rauf** went viral on social media after making a bold “0-6” hand gesture towards Indian fans during the Pakistan-India clash.

While fielding near the boundary, Rauf was heckled by Indian spectators. In response, he gestured “0-6,” imitating the downing of Indian **Rafale fighter jets** by Pakistan. The act drew loud chants of “Rafale, Rafale” from Pakistani fans in the stadium and quickly became a top trend online.

Pakistan’s **Defence Minister Khawaja Asif** also reacted, praising Rauf: *“Haris Rauf thik takriya, kam chak ke rakh”* (Well done Haris, keep it up). He added that while cricket matches come and go, India will never forget the humiliation of “six-nil,” referring to the downing of six Indian aircraft in the May conflict.

Social media users joined in with memes and commentary, saying: *“We may not have won the match, but we won the war.”*

The gesture was a symbolic reminder of the aerial battle in which **Pakistan claimed to have shot down six Indian jets**, a moment still etched in the memories of fans on both sides.
