New Pakistani Airline South Air Begins Test Flights from Today

Karachi: A new Pakistani airline, South Air, is set to begin its test flight operations from today, marking an important step toward expanding regional air connectivity in the country.
According to details, South Air’s inaugural test flight will operate from Karachi to Gwadar and later proceed to Quetta. The airline will use ATR aircraft for its operations.
The airline has obtained a TPRI license from the Civil Aviation Authority aimed at promoting tourism and improving regional air travel facilities.
South Air has announced plans to connect multiple domestic regional airports to enhance passenger convenience and improve connectivity. Its proposed network includes flights between Multan, Gwadar, Turbat, Quetta, Karachi, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan airports.
The airline management has also submitted an application to the Civil Aviation Authority for an RPT license as part of its expansion and operational approval process.
