Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Rejects Proposed New Districts and Divisions in Balochistan

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) has strongly condemned reports circulating on social media regarding the creation of new districts and divisions in Balochistan, rejecting the proposed move outright.
In a press release issued by the party’s central secretariat, PkMAP stated that the initiative by what it termed the “Form-47 imposed, unelected and failed government” was against the historical, geographical, cultural, and social realities of the province and could not be accepted under any circumstances.
The statement said that no authority has the right to unilaterally increase the number of districts and divisions or distort history through administrative changes. According to the party, the historical homelands, social ties, and tribal traditions of the Pashtun and بلوچ nations must not be undermined.
The press release further stated that administrative units in the past were formed on the basis of British Balochistan’s Pashtun-majority territories and the administrative structure of the former State of Kalat. However, the party alleged that the current unelected government was attempting to alter these historical realities through a “conspiratorial plan.”
PkMAP also claimed that the proposed plan violated the tribal status and traditions of various Pashtun and بلوچ tribes.
The statement concluded with a demand that the chief minister and cabinet immediately withdraw the proposal and refrain from such measures, warning that the Pashtun people of the province would never accept what the party described as “conspiratorial projects.”
