Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub Ruled Out of Selection for Australia Series Due to Injuries: PCB
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that key batters Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub will not be available for selection in the upcoming home series against Australia due to injuries.
In an official statement, the PCB said both players are currently undergoing rehabilitation under the supervision of the PCB medical staff as they recover from their respective injuries.
The board added that it extends its best wishes for their speedy recovery and will soon provide further updates on squad selection and player fitness.
Meanwhile, Australia national cricket team is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23, with the ODI series set to begin on May 30. The three-match series will be played on May 30, June 2, and June 4.
The Pakistan national cricket team will begin training at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from May 22 and will also play a practice match ahead of the series.
