Earlier, Imad Wasim had announced that he and his wife Sania Ashfaq were initiating legal proceedings for divorce following prolonged marital differences. He stated that despite years of mutual efforts, the issues could not be resolved, leading to the decision to separate.
In response, Sania Ashfaq shared a statement on social media expressing deep emotional distress. She claimed that her home had been broken and that her children had been deprived of their father, stating that their five-month-old child has not yet been held by him.
She said that despite enduring difficulties throughout the marriage, she fulfilled her responsibilities as a wife and mother, adding that the situation deteriorated after the involvement of a third person in their married life. She also stated that she would pursue legal action and possesses documentary evidence, emphasizing that she is raising her voice not out of revenge, but for the rights of herself and her children.
Imad Wasim and Sania Ashfaq were married in 2019 and have three children.
