Lady Police Constable Killed in Armed Attack in Turbat’s Absar Area; Husband and Son Injured
TURBAT: A lady police constable was killed while her husband and son sustained injuries in a firing incident in the Absar area of Turbat, according to police sources.
Officials said unidentified armed assailants opened fire in the Absar locality, resulting in the immediate death of the female police officer at the scene. Her husband and son were also critically injured in the attack and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers. Authorities have also initiated further investigations to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.
The tragic incident has heightened security concerns in the region as law enforcement agencies continue their efforts to restore order and trace the perpetrators.
