Saudi Airline Plane Develops Fault, Hundreds of Hajj Pilgrims Stranded at Lahore Airport

Lahore: Hundreds of Hajj pilgrims were left stranded at Allama Iqbal International Airport after a Saudi airline aircraft developed a technical fault before departure.
According to airport sources, Saudi Airlines flight SV-5735 was scheduled to depart from Lahore for Madinah at 10:30 am, carrying a large number of pilgrims for Hajj.
However, the flight was delayed after an engine malfunction was detected in the aircraft, leaving hundreds of passengers waiting at the airport for several hours.
Airline officials confirmed that the delay was caused by a technical issue in the plane. They stated that aircraft engineers are currently working to resolve the fault and expressed hope that the problem would be fixed soon so the flight could resume operations safely.
Passengers continued to wait at the airport while airline staff monitored the situation and coordinated technical repairs.
