“We Are Pakistanis and the Pakistan Army Is One of Us”: DG ISPR Visits Quaid-e-Azam University
Islamabad: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad, where he held an interactive session with students and faculty members. He was warmly welcomed upon arrival by the university community.
During the session, the DG ISPR discussed national defense, the professional role of the Pakistan Army, and the country’s internal security situation. He also briefed students on online propaganda trends and the factual realities behind them.
The Vice Chancellor praised the DG ISPR, recalling his earlier statement regarding India, in which he said the world would witness Pakistan’s response—and the world indeed saw how Pakistan’s armed forces effectively countered India, defeating not just its military but its technological capabilities as well.

Students and teachers expressed that the session helped clear misconceptions and provided a deeper understanding of the army’s professional responsibilities and contributions to national security.
Students emphasized unity, stating, “We are not Punjabi, Pashtun, Sindhi, or Baloch—first and foremost, we are Pakistanis. We are Pakistanis, and the Pakistan Army is part of us. We stand with our armed forces and salute them.”
Students from various districts and tehsils participated in the session. The DG ISPR answered their questions in detail, enhancing their knowledge and confidence.
