The tragic accident spread shock and grief across the area soon after the incident was reported. According to initial reports, the coach was on its way from Kharan in Balochistan to Larkana when it suddenly crashed near Barija.
Authorities said possible causes of the accident may include overspeeding, poor road conditions, or the driver losing control of the vehicle. However, the exact cause will be determined after an official investigation.
Following the crash, local residents rushed to the scene and began rescue efforts on a self-help basis, pulling injured passengers and bodies out of the damaged vehicle.
Rescue officials said the injured were shifted to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Barija for first aid, where medical staff are providing treatment.
