“We Are Ready Then and Now, No One Can Harm Pakistan,” Says ISPR in Strong Press Conference

Islamabad: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan demonstrated only “a small part” of its overall military capability during “Operation Haq” and remains fully prepared to respond to any threat at any time.

Addressing a press conference alongside Pakistan Air Force and Navy officials on the completion of one year of “Operation Haq,” the military spokesperson said that Pakistan defeated a much larger adversary through multi-domain warfare with the help of Allah’s blessings.

“We have already shown a glimpse of our capability. What the world saw was only 10 to 15 percent of our overall power potential,” he said, adding that Pakistan remains fully ready today just as it was in the past.

He stated that Pakistan established clear deterrence during the operation and changed the dynamics of warfare. “If anyone has doubts, we have already shown a small demonstration,” he added.

The DG ISPR accused India of spreading a false narrative regarding terrorism and said that the world no longer accepts such claims. He alleged that India itself is involved in terrorism while blaming others.

Referring to Indian leadership, he said that certain politicians “speak more like warriors than statesmen,” adding that Pakistan is fully prepared for any conventional or unconventional conflict.

“Our response will be across land, air, sea, cyber, and cognitive domains. No one can even think of harming Pakistan,” he said, warning that any aggression would be met with a strong response.

He further said that Pakistan will present another “small demonstration” during the upcoming August 14 celebrations to showcase its capabilities.

The DG ISPR emphasized that the armed forces have complete trust in the nation and that there is no space between the people and the military. He also reiterated that the Pakistan Army has no involvement in politics and that political matters should be resolved by political parties themselves through dialogue.

Referring to regional security, he said Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are deep and brotherly, adding that any threat to Saudi Arabia is also considered a threat to Pakistan due to close strategic ties.

Regarding terrorism, he stated that militants have no link with Islam and that Pakistan will continue its operations until the last terrorist is eliminated. He also urged Afghanistan not to allow its soil to be used against Pakistan.

He concluded that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared, professional, and committed to defending the country at all costs, reiterating: “No one’s father can even think of harming Pakistan.”
