Case Registered Against a Dozen Individuals Including a Lawyer Under Serious Sections for Violating SOPs, Abusive Language, and Assaulting a Government Employee

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — A case has been registered against a lawyer and other individuals on allegations of alleged hooliganism, alleged assault on a security guard, and forcibly entering a Government Girls College on Gulistan Road in Quetta after a student was not allowed to be taken from the college before the designated time.

According to the FIR, on October 3 at approximately 12:15 p.m., a person named Waleed came to the girls college gate and said he had come to pick up his sister-in-law, who was studying at the college. The guard told him that taking a student during college hours required a formal application and committee approval.

The case alleges that upon being denied permission, Waleed allegedly misbehaved and used abusive language and indecent words against the principal. During this, he also allegedly got into a scuffle with another guard, Muhammad Azam.
According to the FIR, Waleed, presenting himself as a lawyer, also showed his lawyer’s card and allegedly threatened that he would “deal with them,” after which he began calling his other associates.
According to the report, at around 1:30 p.m., at the college’s closing time, Waleed allegedly arrived at the college gate accompanied by 15 to 16 unidentified individuals, where he allegedly beat up the guard, Muhammad Azam, present there, after which the accused forcibly entered the college.
According to the FIR, the individuals went to the principal’s office and created a commotion; however, the principal and other staff pushed them out of the office and informed higher authorities about the incident.
According to police, the guard injured in the incident, Muhammad Azam, complained of internal injuries to his right shoulder and neck, pain in various parts of his body, and difficulty breathing, upon which he was shifted to Civil Hospital for a medical examination.
Police have registered the case under Sections 337-A, 147, 149, 353, 186, 504, 506, and 354 of the Pakistan Penal Code. These sections relate to causing injury to the head or face, rioting, crime committed in furtherance of the common object of an unlawful assembly, use of force to prevent a public servant from performing his duties, interference in government work, provoking through abusive language, issuing threats, and assault or use of criminal force against a woman.
