Armed Groups Block Major Highways in Balochistan

Quetta:Armed individuals have blocked several major highways connecting Quetta to Iran and other key regions. The RCD Highway, which links Quetta to Iran, has been closed by these groups, as well as the Bolan Highway, which has been shut off to all traffic.

In addition to the RCD and Bolan Highways, the Quetta-Karachi Highway has been obstructed at two locations. The Turbat to Mand Highway has also been blocked. Other affected routes include the Hotabad, Tigran, and Abdui Highways in Turbat, the Heronak CPEC Road, the Quetta-Taftan Highway, the Nushki-Kharan Highway, and major routes in the Bolan and Koh Sulaiman areas.
