Iranian Envoy Praises Pakistan’s Leadership for Role in Promoting Peace
ISLAMABAD: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, has lauded Pakistan’s leadership for its efforts in helping ease regional tensions and supporting peace initiatives.
In a statement shared on X following the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the envoy expressed gratitude to the Government of Pakistan, its armed forces, and the public for their support and cooperation.
He specifically commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their leadership, stating that their role in efforts aimed at ending conflict was “commendable.”
The ambassador highlighted that the Iranian delegation’s visit was conducted with full security, effective planning, and excellent arrangements, reflecting the professionalism of Pakistani institutions.
He also extended special thanks to the Pakistan Army, security forces, police, and government officials for their dedication. Additionally, he praised the people of Islamabad for their hospitality, patience, and cooperation during the visit.
Describing Pakistan as a brotherly, friendly, and neighboring country, the Iranian envoy reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
