Journalist Irshad Bhatti Apologizes to Actress Meera for Causing Hurt
Lahore: Senior journalist Irshad Bhatti has apologized to film star Meera for causing emotional hurt and expressed regret over his recent remarks.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), he said that he apologizes to all those who follow him, watch and listen to him, and expect better from him, as well as to respected film star Meera.
He stated that he has always believed that everyone is continuously learning, and if something wrong is said unintentionally, one should apologize after realizing it.
Irshad Bhatti also thanked those who brought the matter to his attention and helped him recognize the impact of his words.
The apology comes after a recent controversy in which his comments drew criticism and concern from various sections of the public.
