Karachi Police Suspend 22 Officers After Inquiry Findings

KARACHI: The Karachi Police chief has suspended a total of 22 police personnel, including seven inspectors and three assistant sub-inspectors, following the completion of multiple internal inquiries.
The decision was taken in light of findings presented in the inquiry reports, which cited various allegations against the officers and officials involved.
According to authorities, all suspended personnel have been directed to report to the relevant police headquarters. They have also been instructed to ensure daily attendance at the headquarters until further orders.
Officials stated that the action reflects the department’s commitment to accountability and discipline within the force.
