Multiple Incidents Across Balochistan Leave 5 Dead, 11 Injured; 5 Suspects Arrested

Quetta / Interior Balochistan: A series of violent incidents, clashes, and accidents across of Balochistan have left at least five people dead, 11 injured, and five suspects arrested, highlighting ongoing security and safety concerns in the province.
CTD Trainee Martyred in Bus Attack
In a tragic incident near Khaliqabad, unidentified armed men opened fire on a passenger bus of a private transport company traveling from Karachi to Quetta.
According to officials, attackers on motorcycles stopped the bus near a bridge, checked passengers’ identification cards, and targeted a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) trainee.
The victim, identified as Mohammad Imran, a resident of Awaran, was on his way to attend a training course at the Police Training College in Quetta. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. Security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
Police Crackdown: 5 Suspects Arrested
Under the directives of district , law enforcement agencies carried out multiple operations in Usta Muhammad and surrounding areas, arresting five suspects involved in robbery and other criminal cases.
Police stated that operations against criminal elements will continue to ensure law and order.
Coal Mine Tragedy in Dukki
In the Chamalang area of Dukki, two coal miners died after toxic gas suddenly filled a mine during excavation.
The victims, identified as Gul and Nanai, reportedly belonged to Afghanistan. Fellow miners retrieved their bodies before authorities completed legal formalities.
Body Found in Kalat
A 35-year-old man’s body was recovered near a toll plaza in Kalat.
The deceased, identified as Mir Khan, was believed to have died due to possible drug overdose or natural causes. Police have initiated further investigation.
Firing Incidents and Clashes
In Nushki, a young man named Asif was injured after unidentified افراد opened fire and fled.
In the outskirts of Quetta, two افراد were زخمی in a clash between rival groups near Jatak Stop.
In another robbery incident on Link Badini Road, one person was shot dead by armed thieves who escaped with his motorcycle and mobile phone.
In Dera Murad Jamali, a land dispute between two groups of the Bugti tribe left eight people injured.
Growing Concerns
These incidents collectively underline the persistent challenges of law enforcement, دہشت گردی threats, tribal disputes, and unsafe working conditions in mines across Balochistan. Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and further are expected to bring those responsible to justice.
