Mir Asadullah Baloch Criticizes So-Called Nationalists for Passing Mines Act for Personal Gain, Calls for Development and Public Welfare in Panjgur

**Panjgur (Qudrat Daily)** – BNP-Awami central president and former provincial agriculture minister, Mir Asadullah Baloch, accused self-styled nationalists of prioritizing personal interests over Balochistan’s collective welfare, criticizing their role in passing the Mines and Minerals Act. Speaking at the inauguration of a Jirga Hall built with his previous funds, he said these politicians value power more than the people of the province.
Mir Asadullah highlighted widespread corruption in Panjgur’s water projects, claiming that mega-projects worth PKR 400 million failed to deliver a single drop of water to citizens, while an additional PKR 250 million in tenders was allegedly embezzled. He urged political workers to organize on ideological grounds to tackle future challenges and stressed that only BNP-Awami can provide leadership capable of freeing the city from the adverse effects of the imposed “Form 47” government.
He praised the development projects executed during his tenure, including roads, the district complex, a digital library, and opening the border for public employment, which he said brought prosperity to households in Panjgur. Mir Asadullah also criticized the National Party for failing to represent Balochistan’s interests, accusing it of colluding with Islamabad to exploit provincial resources while claiming to be in opposition.
He reiterated his commitment to public service, stating that BNP-Awami’s politics is centered on the welfare of the people, ensuring dignity, development, and opportunities for the citizens of Panjgur.
