Pakistan Thwarts Drone Attack by Afghan Taliban; Four Injured by Debris

The **Pakistan Army** confirmed that an attempted drone attack from **Afghanistan** was successfully foiled on March 13, leaving four people injured, including two children, from falling debris.

According to the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)**, the drones, launched by militants linked to the **Afghan Taliban**, were intercepted using both soft and hard kill methods before they could reach their targets. The debris injured two children in **Quetta** and one person each in **Kohat** and **Rawalpindi**.

The ISPR described the attack as a malicious attempt by the Afghan Taliban to spread fear among the public. It emphasized that both Pakistani citizens and the armed forces are aware of the reality of proxy terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil.

The statement highlighted that terrorism originating from Afghanistan is **unacceptable and intolerable**, and Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to combating terrorism in all its forms. The ongoing **Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq** will continue until the threats posed by Afghan-based militants are fully neutralized.
