Balochistan to Recruit for Vacant Posts Through AI, 14,000 Appointment Letters Issued

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat News):** The Government of Balochistan has decided to fill vacant positions in various departments through Artificial Intelligence (AI), with the recruitment process to be completed within two to three months.

The decision was announced during a Secretaries Committee meeting chaired by Shakeel Qadir Khan. The meeting reviewed progress on AI-based recruitments, timely completion of development projects, redressal of public complaints across different forums, implementation of Google Workspace, and ensuring attendance of officers and staff in government offices.

Addressing the participants, the Chief Secretary said the provincial government has prioritized merit-based appointments to ensure that sincere, hardworking, and capable individuals are inducted into public service. He directed all departments to ensure that recruitments for upcoming vacancies are carried out through Artificial Intelligence and completed within the stipulated two to three months.

During the briefing, officials informed the meeting that appointment letters have already been issued to 14,000 candidates.

The Chief Secretary also emphasized the timely completion of development projects, instructing secretaries to ensure that all schemes are finalized within deadlines to improve the quality of life for the public.

Strict directives were issued to ensure regular attendance of officers and staff in the Secretariat and line departments. The meeting was informed that there has been noticeable improvement in officers’ attendance in recent weeks.
