All Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners Appointed as Justices of the Peace in Balochistan

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):**
The Government of Balochistan has appointed all Divisional Commissioners, Additional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Additional Deputy Commissioners, and Assistant Commissioners as **Justices of the Peace** in their respective jurisdictions with immediate effect.

According to an official notification, these appointments have been made under **Section 22 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898**, enabling the officers to provide public services and exercise their authority in accordance with the law within their areas of responsibility.

The notification states that the appointed officers will exercise powers under **Sections 22-A and 22-B CrPC** to perform judicial and administrative functions. However, they will **not be allowed to display or use any symbol, sticker, or mark of the office of Justice of the Peace on official or private vehicles**.

The decision has been taken to strengthen the judicial and administrative system in the province, improve public welfare services, and make the legal process more effective and accessible to citizens.

Copies of the notification have been forwarded to the **Balochistan High Court, police authorities, all divisional and district officers, and relevant departments** to ensure immediate implementation and assumption of responsibilities by the concerned officers.
