Pakistan’s First Solar-Powered Car Introduced in Lahore
**Lahore (Qudrat Daily):** Pakistan’s first solar-powered car has been introduced in Lahore, offering citizens an alternative to expensive fuel and rising transportation costs.
The innovative vehicle has quickly gained attention due to its cost-saving features and environmentally friendly design. Equipped with air conditioning and heating, the car also includes a sunroof to allow fresh air circulation.
The solar car has a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour and can travel up to 100 kilometers on a single charge. Thanks to built-in solar panels, the battery continues to charge while driving in sunlight, extending the range to approximately 150 kilometers.
In addition to solar charging, the vehicle can also be charged using a standard electric charger, providing flexibility for users.
Residents of Lahore have described the car as an ideal option for daily commuting, such as dropping children at school, running errands, or visiting relatives on weekends, as it eliminates the burden of high petrol expenses.
