India’s Bid to Undermine Pakistan Economically Exposed Again, Say Analysts

ISLAMABAD:India’s covert efforts to weaken Pakistan on the global financial front have once again come to light, according to diplomatic sources and political analysts. Reports suggest that India is not only spreading false propaganda against Pakistan internationally, but is also actively lobbying to push the country back onto the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list.

Sources reveal that India has submitted a dossier to FATF containing baseless allegations intended to exert financial pressure on Pakistan and obstruct its developmental progress. Analysts believe these actions reflect India’s growing unease over Pakistan’s ongoing economic recovery and development.

In a recent move, India reportedly opposed \$20 billion worth of development projects approved by the World Bank for Pakistan—an act seen by observers as a clear indication of India’s intention to hinder Pakistan’s access to international aid and financial support.

Political experts argue that India’s actions are part of a broader agenda to destabilize Pakistan internally by cutting off critical development funding. They say India is pursuing regional dominance by undermining Pakistan’s image and economic stability on the world stage.

Analysts further claim that while India attempts to mislead the global community, Pakistan continues its commitment to transparency, financial discipline, and compliance with international norms. Pakistani authorities have urged the international community not to fall prey to India’s false narrative and to recognize Pakistan’s sincere efforts in promoting peace and development in the region.
