High-Level Meeting Reviews Arrangements for Re-Polling at Seven Polling Stations in PB-36 Kalat

**Quetta:** A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Ali Asghar Sial to review arrangements for the re-polling at seven polling stations of Provincial Assembly constituency PB-36 Kalat, scheduled for March 10, 2026. The meeting took place at the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner in Quetta.
The session was attended by Joint Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Syed Wasim Ahmed Jafri, Commissioner Kalat Division Tufail Ahmed Baloch, DIG Kalat Wazir Khan Nasir, Director Elections Abdullah, Director Administration Naeem Ahmed, Regional Election Commissioner Kalat Division Sikandar Ali Jamali, DRO and Deputy Commissioner Kalat Munir Ahmed Durrani, Returning Officer PB-36 Shah Nawaz Baloch, SSP Kalat Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, and other concerned officials.
Participants conducted a detailed review of arrangements to ensure that the re-polling at the seven polling stations is conducted in a transparent and peaceful manner. Security measures, including the deployment of Pakistan Army and FC personnel at highly sensitive polling stations, were also discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Ali Asghar Sial directed officials to ensure the appointment of impartial and competent election staff and to make foolproof security arrangements. He emphasized that voters must be provided with a peaceful environment at polling stations so they can exercise their right to vote freely and without fear.
