Grand Celebration Held in Islamabad to Honor Khushhal Khan Kakr’s National Assembly Victory

**Islamabad:** A grand and prestigious ceremony was held in Islamabad to celebrate the victory of Khushhal Khan Kakr, Chairman of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, in the National Assembly elections. Hundreds of people attended the event to extend their heartfelt congratulations.

The ceremony saw enthusiastic participation from elders, youth, students, political and social activists, and members of various professional and social backgrounds, who hailed the victory as a triumph of democratic struggle. Representatives of different Pashtun tribes residing in Islamabad and Rawalpindi also attended in large numbers to meet the chairman. Khushhal Khan Kakr was honored with garlands, bouquets, and sweets, while attendees expressed their best wishes.

Participants pledged that Khushhal Khan Kakr, following in the footsteps of his late father, national martyr Usman Khan Kakr, will continue to raise an effective voice for the rights of the oppressed, particularly the Pashtun community, and work for the protection of their constitutional, democratic, and national rights at every level.

Speakers emphasized that this victory represents not just a single parliamentary seat but a triumph for principled politics, the supremacy of the Constitution, the strengthening of democratic traditions, and the restoration of national dignity. They expressed confidence that Khushhal Khan Kakr will highlight critical issues in the National Assembly, including national rights, public welfare, challenges faced by youth, education, employment, law and order, and provincial autonomy, ensuring genuine representation of the people.

The event was attended by the party’s provincial president Nasrullah Khan Zare, central committee member Sardar Allah Yar Khan Jogezai, Islamabad/Rawalpindi district secretary Qadir Khan Sherkhani, PSO leader Arsalan Roshan, and other officials.

The ceremony concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to promoting democracy, upholding the Constitution, safeguarding national rights, and securing the rights of the Pashtun people. In addition, Syed Mamoon Agha hosted an elaborate Iftar dinner at a local Islamabad hotel in honor of the party chairman, attended by key party leaders.
