South Africa Women Seal Series with 16-Run Win Over Pakistan Women

South Africa women’s national cricket team defeated Pakistan women’s national cricket team by 16 runs in the second One-Day International to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
The match, played in Centurion, saw South Africa Women post a formidable total of 361 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs after opting to bat first.
Annerie Dercksen led the charge with a fluent 90, while Tazmin Brits contributed a solid 77 runs. For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal, Fatima Sana, and Aroob Shah claimed two wickets each to keep their side in contention.
Chasing a daunting target of 362, Pakistan Women mounted a strong response and fought valiantly throughout the innings. However, the entire team was bowled out for 345 runs, falling 16 runs short of victory.
Ayesha Zafar top-scored with 77, while Sadaf Shamas added 61 runs, but their efforts were not enough to carry the team over the line.
With this victory, South Africa Women have secured a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
