5.6-Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Surrounding Areas

Islamabad: Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and several other cities after a moderate earthquake struck the region.
Residents in Bajaur, Swabi, and parts of Diamer also reported feeling the quake, causing panic as people rushed out of homes and offices.
According to the seismic monitoring center, the earthquake measured 5.6 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 114 kilometers. The epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major damage; however, authorities are monitoring the situation.
