Three Sisters Die After Parents Object to Online Gaming Habit in Ghaziabad

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** A tragic incident has been reported from the Indian city of Ghaziabad, where three minor sisters lost their lives after jumping from the ninth floor of their residential building, reportedly following objections from their parents over excessive online gaming.
According to police, the incident occurred after the parents confronted the girls about their growing addiction to online games. The deceased sisters have been identified as Pakhi (12), Prachi (14), and Vishika (16).
Police officials stated that the three sisters had become deeply involved in online gaming, often neglecting their studies and distancing themselves from family life. Following the incident, a diary and an eight-page suicide note were recovered from near the scene, in which the girls described their gaming habits and emotional state.
In the note, they reportedly wrote: *“Read everything written in this diary because it is all true. I am really sorry. Sorry, Papa.”*
The police received information about the incident at around 2:15 a.m. Upon reaching the spot, the sisters were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Investigations are ongoing, and legal proceedings have been initiated. Police further revealed that the sisters began online gaming during the COVID-19 pandemic and were particularly engrossed in mission- or task-based games. Due to this addiction, they frequently skipped school and spent most of their time playing games.
Authorities say further inquiry is underway to determine all aspects surrounding the tragic incident.
