Trump Confirms White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to Leave Office

WASHINGTON:US President Donald Trump has confirmed that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will leave her position at the end of this month.

Trump described Leavitt as one of the best press secretaries and praised her work for justice and freedom, including during the 2024 election campaign.

At 28, Leavitt is the youngest person in US history to serve as White House press secretary.

Leavitt said she plans to leave the position to spend more time with her young children.

She gave birth to a daughter in May and recently returned from maternity leave. Leavitt described her role at the White House as a “lifetime honor and adventure.”

Trump also praised her performance during her tenure and expressed appreciation for her service to his administration.
