JI Balochistan Chief Calls for Granting Economic and CPEC Rights to People of Balochistan

Quetta:Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and MPA Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch has urged the federal government and powerful circles in Islamabad to grant the people of Balochistan their economic rights along with the benefits of CPEC, Saindak, and Reko Diq projects so that the conditions of the province’s people and youth can improve.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan district heads and office-bearers in Karachi. The meeting was attended by district amirs, provincial officials, and representatives of allied organizations. During the session, reports on the implementation of previous decisions, organizational performance of Jamaat-e-Islami, allied organizations, and Al-Khidmat Foundation, as well as the long march and central public gathering, were presented. Future strategy and planning were also discussed.
Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch said that ensuring rights for the oppressed people of Balochistan is an urgent need of the time. He stressed that peace, stability, and development will remain unattainable until Balochistan is granted its due rights. He added that the rulers should accept the demands of the long march to improve the situation in the province.
Addressing the meeting, district leaders and office-bearers said that despite being rich in natural resources, Balochistan continues to suffer from corruption and insecurity due to both internal and external factors. They demanded the immediate recovery of missing persons, an end to humiliation at check posts, reopening of border trade routes, and the cessation of unjust practices such as internet shutdowns and closure of major highways.
The leaders reiterated that Jamaat-e-Islami will further expand its “Haq Do Balochistan” movement to ensure the acceptance of the legitimate demands of the people of the province.
