CM Balochistan Pays Tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on 18th Death Anniversary

Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, in his message on the 18th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, said that she was a shining symbol of democracy, the Constitution, and the sovereignty of the people, who gave a new direction to the democratic struggle in Pakistan by sacrificing her life.

The Chief Minister said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto dedicated her entire political life to the protection of people’s rights, supremacy of the Constitution, and the promotion of democratic values. He added that her leadership reflected vision, courage, and a deep connection with the masses, which laid strong foundations for democratic thinking in the country.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto showed women the path to playing an effective and dignified role in national politics and became a strong voice for the deprived and vulnerable segments of society. He said that her intellectual legacy is still alive today in the form of public service, tolerance, and democratic conduct.

The Chief Minister further said that the Pakistan Peoples Party remains committed to carrying forward the mission, ideology, and people-centric politics of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, and to promoting democratic values, federal harmony, and social justice in the country.

Reaffirming his resolve, he said that the journey of public service and development across Pakistan, including Balochistan, will continue in the light of the thoughts and vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
