Five-Member Robber Gang Involved in Over 100 Street Crimes Arrested in Karachi

Karachi: Pak Colony Police have arrested a five-member robber gang allegedly involved in more than 100 incidents of robbery and street crime across the city. Weapons, cash, snatched mobile phones, and stolen motorcycles were recovered from the suspects during the operation.
According to police, the action was carried out by Keamari’s Pak Colony Police, who apprehended a highly dangerous gang involved in armed robberies. The recovered items include three pistols, nine snatched mobile phones, cash, and two motorcycles stolen from the Gulbahar and New Town areas.
SSP Keamari Amjad Sheikh stated that the arrested gang consists of five members identified as Liaquat, Shehnshah, Talib, Rashid, and Rehman. During initial interrogation, the suspects made important disclosures regarding their criminal activities.
The SSP further revealed that the suspects used to dismantle stolen mobile phones and sell their parts. The gang also targeted families traveling in cars and was active in the Baldia and SITE industrial areas.
Police records show that the arrested suspects are involved in more than 11 serious cases, including robbery, motorcycle theft, mobile phone snatching, and firing at police.
Another case has been registered against the suspects at Pak Colony Police Station, and further investigation is currently underway.
