Balochistan Government Orders Action Against Employees Participating in Pen-Down Strike, Requests Names

Quetta – The Balochistan government has decided to take action against government employees who participated in the province-wide pen-down strike, following a call by the Balochistan Grand Alliance. The protest, held on Monday, saw employees across provincial offices halt work in demonstration.
In response, the Department of Services, General Administration & Coordination (SNGAD) issued a circular directing all concerned officials, including the Additional Chief Secretary Planning & Development, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Senior MBR, Chairman CMIT, and secretaries of all provincial departments, as well as the IG Police, to submit the names and positions of all employees involved in the strike.
The circular emphasized that these details must be collected and submitted immediately to facilitate government action against the protesting employees. The move comes as the administration seeks to curb disruptions caused by organized employee protests across Balochistan.
