Major Development in Ducky Bhai’s YouTube Accounts and Seized Equipment Case

Karachi: A major development has emerged in the case concerning the custody of YouTube accounts and seized equipment belonging to renowned YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai.

According to details, a hearing was held at the Lahore District Courts regarding the release (superdari) of Ducky Bhai’s accounts and equipment that were confiscated during his custody. During the proceedings, the prosecutor informed the court that YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman had uploaded eight videos so far.

The Assistant Director of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) raised an objection, stating that the YouTube account was still considered case property. He questioned how the YouTuber was able to upload videos while the account remained under seizure, expressing concerns that videos linked to the case might be deleted or altered.

In response, Ducky Bhai told the court that he had already submitted an affidavit, assuring that no video would be tampered with. He further clarified that he did not upload the videos himself, but that they were uploaded by his editor.

The court then asked the accused to identify his editor. Ducky Bhai informed the court that the editor is a friend of his who resides in Hyderabad.

The court also questioned the Director of NCCIA, asking whether the agency was unaware that someone else might have access to the YouTube account. The NCCIA director replied that in some cases, account owners do not grant access to their editors.

After hearing arguments from both sides and their legal counsel, the court reserved its decision in the matter.
