Governor Balochistan, Adviser Amir Hamza Zehri Discuss Approval of Shaheed Sikandar Zehri University Act

Quetta: Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail held a meeting with Provincial Adviser for Local Government and Rural Development, Nawabzada Amir Hamza Khan Zehri, who was accompanied by a delegation from Khuzdar. The meeting focused on the approval of the Shaheed Sikandar Zehri University Khuzdar Act, administrative challenges, and other key issues.
Adviser Amir Hamza Zehri briefed the Governor on the current status of the university, its challenges, and the progress toward initiating academic activities. He noted that the operationalization of the university would ease the burden on other higher education institutions in the province and create new employment opportunities for local youth.
He added that approval of the university act would help resolve longstanding issues of Shaheed Sikandar Zehri University. Governor Mandokhail assured the delegation that the provincial government is committed to addressing the university’s challenges and will extend all possible support to ensure its smooth functioning.
The Khuzdar delegation included District Chairman Haji Salahuddin Zehri, Khan Muhammad Zehri, Mir Shoaib Zehri, Mir Ali Dost Zehri, and other representatives.
