Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Calls for Unity to Address Provincial Issues, Urges Islamabad to Resolve Key Problems

Quetta: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, MPA Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, has emphasized that the solution to Balochistan’s ongoing issues lies with the powerful circles in Islamabad. He condemned the indifferent attitude towards the people of Balochistan and their resources, stressing that the real leadership of Balochistan should join the struggle for acquiring the rightful constitutional rights of the province.
Speaking at various ceremonies and during meetings with delegations at the Jamaat-e-Islami provincial headquarters, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch stated that Balochistan’s problems can only be solved through unity, transcending divisions based on race, ethnicity, or political affiliations. He urged that if the people of Balochistan unite, they will be able to achieve their rights.
The MPA highlighted key issues such as the plight of missing persons, border closures, access to the benefits of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the humiliation faced at check posts, exploitation by trawler mafias along the coast, and the need for real representation in decision-making. He assured that Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to struggle to provide real political representation instead of relying on fake public representatives.
Maulana Hidayat further emphasized that the party’s efforts will focus on uniting the true leadership of Balochistan. He said that if unity is achieved, the province’s issues will be resolved, and the struggle for acquiring the region’s rights will succeed.
Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan recently highlighted these issues through a “Haqq-o-Balochistan” Long March, bringing to light the collective national concerns of the people of the province. The party has also held talks with Islamabad’s rulers and reached agreements to address these issues.
The MPA reiterated their commitment to ensuring that these agreements are implemented, including ending the unannounced military operations in the province, releasing political prisoners, and facilitating legal trade opportunities with Iran and Afghanistan. However, he strongly condemned the closure of borders, asserting that such actions hurt legal trade and commerce, while allowing the unchecked flow of drugs and arms.
Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan continues to raise the burning issues of the province both inside and outside parliament, working diligently towards finding practical solutions for the betterment of Balochistan and its people.
