Islamabad: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has stated that the provincial government is fully prepared to implement the National Digital Policy and promote digital governance across Balochistan.
The remarks came during a meeting with Federal Minister for Information Technology, Shiza Fatima Khawaja, where detailed discussions were held on digital governance, the National Digital Policy, and IT development in the province. The Chief Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to full digitalization to make the financial system transparent, efficient, and corruption-free. He also announced plans to invite relevant authorities working on the digital policy to Quetta to design strategies based on ground realities.
Bugti stressed the importance of promoting positive, responsible, and constructive use of social media, calling for coordinated efforts at both federal and provincial levels.
