Police Officer Martyred as Armed Men Attack Police Stations and Bank in Balochistan’s Bhag

Bhag (Balochistan): A police officer was martyred and one constable injured when armed men launched coordinated attacks on multiple government buildings in the **Bhag area of Kachhi district** on Monday evening. One assailant was also killed in the exchange of fire.
According to police, **dozens of unidentified gunmen** riding motorcycles and vehicles stormed into Bhag Nari and **simultaneously attacked the National Bank, Tehsil Office, City Police Station, and Saddar Police Station**.
During the fierce exchange of gunfire, **Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Lutf Ali** embraced martyrdom while **Constable Muhammad Azeem** sustained injuries. The police retaliated, killing one of the attackers.
The assailants also **set fire to the National Bank, Tehsil Office, both police stations, and the police armory**, causing significant damage.
Following the attack, **security forces rushed to the scene**, cordoned off the area, and launched a **search operation** to trace the perpetrators. The incident spread **panic and fear** among local residents.
Upon receiving reports of the assault, **SSP Kachhi Muazur Rehman**, along with a heavy contingent of police, CTD personnel, and other security officials, reached Bhag; however, the attackers had fled before the forces arrived. Security operations to track down the militants are **ongoing**.
