Shirani Forest Fire Erupts in Ahmadi Dargah Area; PDMA Rescue Team Dispatched with Safety Equipment

Shirani (Daily Qudrat) – A forest fire broke out in the hilly region of Ahmadi Dargah in Shirani district. The district administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Shirani, initiated immediate measures to control the blaze. However, due to the fire’s intensity and the difficult terrain, assistance was requested from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan.

PDMA Director General Jahanzeb Khan Ghory Zai deployed a rescue team from Quetta equipped with essential firefighting and safety gear. The dispatched resources included 12 rescue personnel, 200 fireballs, 4 fire beaters, 400 meters of rope, 3 ambulances, 2 portable oxygen cylinders, 2 smoke masks, 100 surgical masks, and 30 N95 masks.

Authorities are actively coordinating efforts to contain the fire and ensure the safety of nearby communities.
