Tragic Road Accident Near Uthal: 9 Killed, Including Police Officer; 2 Injured

Uthal:At least nine people lost their lives and two others were injured in a tragic road accident near Faqeera Stop in Uthal, district Lasbela, Balochistan. The collision involved a passenger coach belonging to “Al-Dawood” and two pickup vehicles.

According to initial reports, the passenger coach was en route from Quetta to Karachi, while both pickup vehicles were traveling from Karachi to Khuzdar. The crash occurred when the vehicles collided head-on under unclear circumstances.

Among the deceased was a police officer, while another police personnel sustained injuries. Sources confirm that both officers had boarded one of the pickup vehicles from Uthal and were traveling to Bela at the time of the accident.

Rescue teams and local authorities rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Hospitals in Uthal and Bela.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, though eyewitnesses suggest overspeeding and poor road conditions may have contributed to the tragedy.
