PPP Announces Candidates for Quetta Local Body Elections, Pledges to Address Public Issues at Doorstep

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – Leaders of the **Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan** have announced their candidates for the upcoming local body elections in Quetta, emphasizing that the elections will help resolve public issues at the grassroots level.
During a ceremony held to distribute party tickets for **Zarghoon Town constituencies PB-41, PB-42, and PB-43**, PPP leaders including Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Zarghoon Town Committee Chair Mir Liaquat Lehri, General Secretary Rabani Khan Kakr, former Senator Lala Rozi Khan Kakr, Haji Naseebullah Achakzai, Malik Zeeshan Hussain, Dr. Ubaid Kakr, and others addressed party workers and candidates.
The leaders stated that local body elections are the backbone of democracy and stressed that PPP candidates will participate in all union councils and wards across Quetta. They expressed confidence that **PPP will achieve significant success in the local body elections**, and the city’s mayor and town chairpersons will belong to the party.
Party leaders urged PPP workers to conduct **door-to-door campaigns** and maintain close contact with the public to ensure the success of their candidates. They also highlighted that holding local elections will enable citizens to have their smaller, day-to-day issues addressed directly at their doorstep.
